The fuel level should be at the middle of the sight glass on the carb. If it?s at the very top of the sight glass it?s set too high and that?s more then likely your issue.

Maybe you can rotate the bracket connected to the forward/ reverse lever.

Jet Pumps / Jg bowl fill holes

The threaded fill holes on my jg bowl are stripped out allowing water in and lube to leak out. Is there an easy fix for this, or do I need a new bowl?

I would trim it down and take it for another spin, if it works better leave it. If it?s worse then trim it up and try again. You are going to have to play with it until you find the sweet spot

Try playing with the angle of the ride plate. Make adjustments until it rides the way you want it.

From what I?m told, impeller size is based on hp/tq curve plus the rpm at which the engine turns. I chose a ?B? cut as I plan on adding more power and rpm soon.

Upgraded shaft, inducer, loader, droop, and place diverter. I still need to add a shoe and ride plate.

675 tq and 6100rpm is all she turns on the water. It has a small solid roller cam with .590 lift for now.
