Got my 1970 Tahiti jet boat going and took it out this week to Pyramid lake to test it. Boat ran good with a LOT OF POWER... but lol started to over heat and smoke was coming out from right side valve cover... just want to know what should I look at first.. is the smoke bad what can that mean? Thanks in advance.

I checked fuel pump and I installed new fuel lines and filter already..

I got the boat in 20212 and just now trying to get it going I took the carb to a local shop.. it stays on for about 3 to 5 seconds if I keep dumping starting fluid it will stay on..

Honestly not sure.. the guy who.i got.it from said it was good it just needed a carb rebuild because it was leaking gas.

Need help guys my 403 Olds won't stay on... I got the boat on a trade I rebuilt the carburetor and I can't get it to stay on.. it fire's on good and sounds good but can't get it to stay on.. any feed back will help.. Thanks guys. 👍👍👌👌

Need to rebuild a Holley 750 double pumper.
Is it hard? I have taken apart many dirtbike and quads carbs off to clean but never have I done a big carb like this. Or should I just take it in? What would be the cost any idea?

Thanks guys!! Yea I picked it up on a trade from the original owner I got the owners manual and all 
I traded a 2008 Yamaha ttr 230 trail bike I picked up for my wife. She fell and gave up so it was just sitting there so I think this was a win for ME 
Boat is in greate condition!! A little just minor tlc and it will be a greate boat for the summer...
Oh and I have to rebuild the carb because it leaks easy fix right?
