Definately DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM JASPER001! He burned me for 475 for a hydraulic diverter, I should have known when he started making excuses that he was to busy to ship it. Then his mom had Corona. Bummer was I paid him friends and family and it came out my savings account so not even my bank can do anything for me. Live and learn I guess, its too bad people have to scam hard working people.

Boats For Sale / Re: 1998 Eliminator Eagle XP 250 Open Bow Pro Charger
« on: January 19, 2017, 07:25:51 AM »
I know its not a jet boat but I thought maybe somebody on the forum might have an interest in a great running boat. About 330 hours on the hull, and 110 hours on the engine. Boat is an open bow, 25ft, powered by a Fuel Injected 454 Mercruiser with a procharger. Gel coat is in really great condition, I am the second owner, outboard is a Bravo 1 with a 28p Stainless prop. Boat has a massive stereo system with 4 12's and a bunch of 6x9's scattered through out, bluetooth head unit. Interior only has 2 seasons on it. Trailer is a tandem Competitive trailer with stainless fenders. Bunks could use some work. Both trailer and boat are registered in AZ. Has all the factory accessories including the bimini top and matching boat cover. Dual battery setup, boat could use a tune up as its hard to start when cold, and could use a detail as its dusty. Boat has been stored inside. Other than that it is a turnkey reliable boat. Selling because I got promoted and don't have as much free time theses days. I'm asking 18k obo

Boat still for sale?

Those V/C's are Chevy. Olds are much smaller than those, even fabbed covers, sorry.

Here are some better pictures of the motor and the boat itself. Definitely Olds though has C heads.

Gel coated floor.

Looks great, mine is just like it came out of the factory. It has a rough texture, but I watched that project when you were doing it. Thought it was a very nice boat.

Same here old garage  monkey new to this jet boat scene

Maybe unbolt the drive shaft and spin it by hand just to eliminate it.....hahaha (you have a eliminator)  O0 If your a old school mechanic I don't see why you would have any problems making the motor run right.

Boat new to us was told jet was rebuilt dominator bought a rebuilt motor just put new 850 on it no difference  in rpm but runs alot better  every where else timing at 34 total fuel pressure at 6 pounds at ideal have to check that on water under load  to see  if I might have a problem  there boat runs great just rpm challenged replaced all gauges and they all stayed the same if I had a bearing  issue  should I have a noise because there is none

I would definitely think there would be noise, but I have seen stranger things happen........At least from the automotive industry standpoint. (Not a full time boat mechanic by any means)

I have been running my boat for three seasons with no carpet. Thought it was easier to keep clean. Now I have the all the seats and the fuel tanks out and thought maybe its time to put carpet. What do you guys think....... :banghead:

ill try to get pics, but theres what looks like a southwind sitting in a field by my old house. Complete with an engine and a diverter. Literally sitting there rotting...

Been there the 10 years i lived here

The owners dad is the one who bought my sleekcraft hull/trailer off of me. and he says that it does 200 mph... His son had it built.

Its been sitting out in the rain/weather/sun un covered for atleast 10 years

200 mph?
