all of the cylinder  heads mentioned here are from a gen4.(990, 049,781) they do make a conversion gasket, but it's not recommended in a marine application (per GN7). A friend of mine does have a set of vortec heads that were takeoffs.. it's also imperative  that u know what pistons are in this motor. The vortec head will only work on a flat top or dished  piston.  call me if interested  562-307-5578 located in so cal.

I had a front row seat to that race on the water..... notice the slow as sukka in the black boat driving by. That was the first time I had driven a k boat, first time driving anything blown and injected for that matter. I flinched everytime they went by it was SO LOUD being right next to um! that's a pretty good turn out considering how hard it is to get people to show up and race. That's what has always intrigued me about the jet class, is that it doesn't necessarily have to be a purpose built race boat (for nostalgia) c/j is another story.

i'd try partin it out on pirate 4x4. I'd try $800 for the motor, $1000 for the 60, $150 for the rear end and $800 for the wheels and tires. Call a scrap guy for the rest! Otherwise that thing will be in your driveway forever!! Oh yah, the 205 and adapter is prolly worth $250.
