Should be getting the motor and intake back soon? we are going to resin the whole bottom of bilge metallic red to match the rest of the original paint and keep the nice finish on the wood grain

New transom wood going in

Got the engine out and getting ready to start cutting away

Sweet it finally worked?. So took the mantra out first trip of year and the transom delaminated? I thought the cap split from the hull but didn?t. So we ordered all new wood and cut the stringers out along with transom. Pulled the intake and sent to mpd to have machined for shoe and ride plate. The 495 is at DNE to get valves adjusted and small oil leak fixed.

I?m glad it?s back up I have no social media and love seeing what others are doing to there boats and stuff? I am getting scared that there will be no events this year? usually the season kick off is end of the month or first week of April.

Yes yes we are going to race it but probably not till either last 3 events this coming year or do a full year next season. Reason for delay is I don?t want to have more stress on the wife since the baby just turned 1. Later in the year or next year baby man will be a little more grown up. Tomorrow going to take the mufflers out the headers pretty sure losing some hp. But man let me tell ya that olds run and runs hard it will push me past 80 any giving day i always lift before it hits the wall
