Hell ya brother I remember that . The racing in the cove later that day was Insane , dudes ran aground in the rocks, blown motors and hurt feelings . All in good fun though. Rule#1 if you run what you brung and lose to a dude on nitrous , then you didn’t BRUNG”“ enough . Hahahaha

I remember the day they were filming pulling the motor out of the truck and putting it into the boat in the parking lot of the boat ramp at Elsinore” it was the same day as the Tom Papp Memorial if I remember correctly

Yup I run a kodiak motor and my starter is top mounted . It always stays dry . I’ve seen other guys with this same issue .

I’ve spoken to joe “ aka Flusher” and he has helped me out with knowledge and info numerous times which I can’t thank him enough . At the time of my pump rebuild B-1 was really busy with the race season in full swing along with other people ahead of me which was not a problem I totally get it those race boats are big money . I called Tim at PD and he said bring it by and let him take a look at . Tim checked it out and said sure it doesn’t look too bad so I backed my sled into his shop and 3 days later he was done . Both Joe and Tim are great guys I have met them both and are a wealth of knowledge and experience in the boating world . They both have great shops and deserve all the respect . They both keep the jet boat world moving wether it’s on this site or the FB site , I hear from them both just trying to help people . Both great guys . Just my .02 Thanks

Super cool guy and can handle any pump modsYup 2xs Tim at Place Diverter is a great guy”” he backs his work . I had him rebuild my pump 2 seasons ago and not a single issue. He even got me over night delivery from American Turbine for free just to get me back on the water faster

If your hauling ass and your boat comes out of the water lift off the throttle cause you will tweak that pump shaft when you come down and load that pump instantly” you don’t want that repair bill $$$

I brought the family out to the season opener and all I hear now is when is the next trip??? , this speaks volumes as to what a great time and positive impact that Scjb has on both people and the boating community as a whole.
