80, this POS won't pull itself up the grade out of Indio without unlocking the converter and dropping into 3rd. My iron head 5.7 would drag the boat up the grade at 65 locked up. I get 9mpg in this pile....unloaded. I'm over it.

Review, back from the dead. LS motors are junk. I've seen 12 mpg at best, around town, very easy, I can squeek 8.5-9 mpg, and it tows like shit...no torque under 4000 Rpms. I want my old iron headed truck back.

The turbo this had been proven by a few boats so far. Bobby fry would be one of them. But his was a standard bbc.
For me, nitrous has a bigger window of tunning ability for the track. Some of the fasted open boats are nitrous programs.

Hard to find. From what I understand, the muffler bearings have zerks.

...if it gets picked up this weekend. It's rough...been sitting forever and rings are rusted so it won't turn. No water in crankcase. Looks like a good core, heads are included. Located in long beach.

Anybody want any parts off of this pig? Good 460 core, M/T valve covers, weiand T-ram, jacuzzi pump that doesn't turn with about 10 lbs of historical river weed/rope around the shaft, etc....

Haven't seen it in person yet, towing it home this weekend. The gel looks too good to have sat uncovered for the whole 27 years, so maybe it's salvageable.
