oh, one more thing!!! This is not a rule but a common courtesy. If you are being lapped and are obviously in the way of a race, please try to make some room for the race that is going on around you!! I see this happen in GN all the time and it really irritates me. :banghead:

What are you guys using for:
GPS, will a garmin etrex work?
Kill switch?

also what are the rules as far as driving out there. obviously theres a parade lap, then I see some guys raising their hand occasionally. Is that for motor trouble or what???  I admit I am new, just trying to learn this stuff so I dont do something stupid out there.
A mercury style kill switch is what you need. Only two types, magneto and reg ign. Driving rules should be reviewed in your APBA handbook in the inboard section. A few rules off the top of my head are:
1. Maintain your lane through the first turn.
2.No cutting the track unless its to line up for the start or there is a black flag.
3. one must be atleast 4 boat lengths ahead before lane changing in front of another boat.
4. know your flags
5. acknowledge the flag man and napolean on the parade lap.
6. PAY ATTENTION TO THE FLAGS, somebody may have had an incident on the course and the flags will let you know.
7. Stop IMMEDIATELY if you see a flare.
8. always listen to terry and if you have questions, ask him.

pan 14 qt dooley for a gen lv bbc. Came off my k boat and does not leak. It has never been blown up, and includes windage tray and pick up. Pan is not pretty. It needs to be recoated or painted. Dooley used to re coat them for $20 if they had a batch going. Anyways, I want $250 or it.

Mallory spint mag II for BBC std deck. Has newer bronze gear. I took this mag to ZIG and he tested and gave it  clean bill of health. THis mag needs nothing but a good home. If you have ever taken anything to ZIG, you know he doesnt usually do anything for under $400. Yah, you can find one cheaper at the swap meet, maybe, but by the time you take that one to ZIG and he shakes his head at you, thats an easy $400!! lol  mag $550

-10 from the pick up to the water pump where it tee s to two -8s. the dumps will also be -8s. Also, its a good idea to carry a spare impeller. Replace the impeller annually. ;)

Thanks for letting us be a part of the team this past weekend.

Brad, the bitterness and anger just OOZES out of you in this post. The race hasn't even happened yet so no one actually knows who's gonna show up!!! And, who gives a dam about your beloved "nay sayer"!!!!!!
