I just thought it would look cleaner without the fuel line coming out behind the seats. I do have the holley carb and a bow tank. I guess I will just leave my fuel line routing alone then and go run it. Thanks for the info.

Thank you Joe. Its like the holley red or blue. I just bought a regular regulator with no return and see how it goes. Now I can run fuel line from bow to stern then to the engine instead of taking the shortest route now. I'll let y'all know how it works out. The regulator I bought says its adj. from 3 to 12 psi.

Nope. Just a mild BBC roller cam and lifters and bored 30 over. Just didn't know it if that was too much pressure to not have a return. I have a fiberglass bow tank and don't know how I would make the return line into the tank.

I didn't know if it would build up too much pressure and blow the fuel lines off. I did not want to find this out in the middle of the lake. I will get a regulator then and try it this weekend.Thank You!

My fuel pressure guage only goes to 15psi and needle went all the way around to the pin. Or should I just get a different electric
 fuel pump?

I bought a new electric fuel pump in july and just now got around to installing it. It was supposed to be carb. friendly and only be rated to about 9 psi.  I installed it today and it pegged my fuel pressure guage.  Question is if I get a fuel pressure regulator do I need the one with the return line or will the regulator without a return line be sufficient?

Update if anyone else runs into this problem. High pressure switch connector has a/c hose pushing on it at all times. They were designed that way. After 12 years it ends up pulling the wires apart inside wore installation so nothing comes on. You can buy s replacement for 15 bucks or stuff one in your pocket from salvage yard (after ohm testing to make sure those wires and connector are good and problem is fixed. Yea!!! :)

The noise doesn't change if on the throttle or not. If in 4x there would be pressure on then to quiet them. I will check that too.

I am running out of ideas, I have a 98 Z71 4x4 and driving in 2 wheel drive it makes a growl noise from the front end after about 40mph, put in 4 high and it goes away and stays away when going back to 2 wheel dr. when in 2 wheel it does not drive like its in 4 wheel so I know it is not stiking in 4 wheel dr. Is this a common problem with these? it has 115k on it. Other then that it runs good, shifts good, etc.  Any ideas will help.

When my holley had problems I used my spare q-jet and cruising at 3000 rpms it would not hold a steady speed so then the secodaries would kick in and that was too much so you would let off the gas and try to cruise at 3000 rpm and same thing would happen over and over and over, secondaries come in and then you would take off. it was really annoying. I thought it might be the carb and I put it on my dads el comino and it ran fine.  The only thing I can think of is the primaries are too small and its a big difference when the secodaries kick in because there huge. I anit sure of this but its my 2 cents and just wanted to let you know.

Beware if heading to lake pleasant. A sheriff office friend told me there is a lot of trash, debris, cactus, sticks, etc. floating all over due to this weeks flooding

The same mental giants on the race today was complaining about the metal guard rails to the big accident at Watkins glen today and they worked perfect. They kept the cars on the track and everyone walked away so they did what they were designed to do. What are they supposed to line the guard rails with pillows and feathers?

First I will say its a shame someone died. Second of all I was always taught not to run out into traffic, in the dark, wearing mostly black. Wait til its over and fight it out in the pits. I know those cars have a big blind spot in the right front do to the huge wing. Just going by what I saw on you tube and my opinion only. Like I said its awful someone had to die.
