Also glad to hear your truck started running better. Hope you didn't make it home too late.

I'll give him $1200 for it.
You make it $1500 and I think it's yours ... it's a nice boat ...

Here's when I had the blown alcohol motor in it ...  ;D

Okay, since circle boat racing has officially started up again, I figure someone might have the bug!

$1800 and I was wrong, BBC Rail kit isn't in it anymore.

Shoot, the paint alone cost me over $2500, new intake machined for a shoe & ride plate, set back already.

Trailer redone w/ new wiring and bunks ... this is a smoking deal ... you have to mount the chrome fenders though.

As Mike says ... this will not go anywhere w/o board approval. I know Rolf & Willis are supporters of making this happen, but Don Jones (our Race CoOrdinator) & Alan Doerr (our starter) who set up the course and run the show aren't too happy about it.

If you even blink on our current lighting system, it will fail and then you will have a ton of drag boat guys pissed off at you for killing the event.

There is a movement for a new lighting system which will help with this, but w/o board support and speaking with Don & Alan and getting them on board, it will be a hard sell.

FYI, I support you guys. Just some factual insight on how it will work ... and BTW, Brad ... you should bring this to the board ... not Jim Brock ... in my opinion it will be received better by the board.

Uhmmm... what's a burst panel?

not sure if you're kidding or not ... but just in case you aren't ... it's a rectangle plate made of aluminum that is made to blow out in case you run the motor too lean or have a back fire ... it will save the motor from blowing out somewhere else ...

Willis has stock in the burst panel industry I think, that's why he blows so many  ;D ;D ;D

I will be at the NHRA warm up's in Phoenix with the Funny Car getting ready for Pomona ... you'll have to call Ken or Roznos for his address ... so I can't be there.

I think you have what you need to get into the program w/o spending any cash ... you just need a new tuner  >:D

Had those gremlins ever since, but this year, should have a better hold on it.

Willis ... we've been hearing that for what 3 years now? I have an idea for you ... 1-800-Call Busby ... I told you I would help out for free ... you've seen more burst panels blow than John Force!

I really want to see you make a season with no panels blowing!

You should be deep into the 7's ...

You know I'm giving you a hard time ... but really, let's make that focker run! Call me.

I would take $1700 for the motor alone (less the parts mentioned).

It's in good shape, std bore/std crank/std rods ... it was a truck motor that I took apart and put back together w/ a new cam and marine intake. 650cfm Holley carb, Crane Cam, New HEI distributor.

It's not a Hi Perf deal ... just something I put together to get the Gullwing out on the water for the Tom Papp memorial outing. Turn Key though and will probably run forever. Usually the ones you don't want to keep last forever and the ones you really want always have issues.

In reality, I shouldn't sell this as it will probably keep me on the water this summer.

more pics ... motor out of the Gullwing is available less scoop, valve covers (I'll throw in chrome ones), oil pan and headers ... it's a running stock 4 bolt main Gen 5 BBC w/ a mild cam ...

as I said motor is available (less items mentioned above) ... if someone gives me $6k for everything:

It's a '73 Eliminator ... fresh paint from Anaheim Hills Auto Body & pump set back with low profile intake from Tom Papp ...

The trailer is back to road trailer width, tounge has been returned to normal (swing away),but the chrome fenders need to be mounted. I rewired the trailer as well as sand blast and paint. It's a nice trailer ... oh yeah, new bunks and carpet.

New tripple dip chrome on the cav plates.

rail kit for BBC and foot pedals are there, not sure if the single seat is still around, I think it has a couple of buckets and a bench ...

My Brother-in-law took it on as a project from me & doesn't think he'll ever do anything with it ... so here we are.

It was a fast boat when I had it ... ran over 120 mph ... it wasn't comfortable, but it did it  :o

Let me know if you're interested ... I need to call him and make sure he hasn't changed his mind again saying he wants to keep it.

hmmm ... dirt bike ... what are you thinking?

as far as computer work, my father worked for IBM for 40 years ... I was raised on code cards and mainframe tapes ... (old school 1970's computer crap) ... so networking and cpu's are takencare of.
