I must be in luck.  I picked up a Hondo T-deck with a 454, Jacuzzi WJ w/place diverter and original gel coat.   :o
They are very very quick. Alot of fun to drive. I saw that boat for sale you got a killer deal. You will be very happy. Some will disagree but 0-80 that haul will whoop some serious tunnell ass. They are capable of triple digits, but they get narly.

I like the Cole or Hondo T-Deck. Those boats look awesome, are quick as hell and are just plain fun to drive.

That is a great start. I had a WJ in my Southwind with the energizer kit. Worked great. Ran 72 mph with a mildley (spelling) built 454.

You will never get out of it what you put into it. Whatever the market will allow is what it is worth. If nada shows your boat is worth $4000 and the market is selling for $7000, well most peolpe don't want to give things away for any less than they are worth.

Wish my boat would ready by March. Sounds like fun and a good way to learn the ropes. I have wanted to start racing boats for awhile now. My biggest problem is my wife and her fear for me doing it.

Dont fear the flavor . :D Enjoy your canned arrowhead water though.  ;D

-beerjet-

There is no fear of Butt light, it just taste like ass. :) I prefer Heineken Light ( for the flavor), but if I am on a budget, Coors light all the way, and if I am on a serious budget Keystone light. :P

I can do Coors light, but not Bud light. I consider myself a serious beer drinker, but if all there is left is Bud or Bud light I will not drink it. It has a bitter after taste that makes me cringe.

Call that ugly? This is the only side you'll ever get to see! ;)
I don't know which is older...the 25yr old technology in your boat or your mullet!  ;D Bet you got a '76 dodge dart swinger to hah?! :o Course I haven't seen one in a while since their afraid of HAVASU! Damn fuel injection....I wanna a caburetor too!!! :'(

Well if the jet won't beat you then the 26 ft Raysoncraft with the blown 572 will for sure. Just let me know which one you want me to bring. O0 I love my jet as much as you love your wacker. One thing us jet guys have is the 100ft plus wall of water. That will always make the people on the shore look, everytime. ;D

The No Wake Zone / Re: No Bullshit! How fast is your boat??
« on: January 22, 2007, 10:58:04 AM »
My Challenger runs 78mph on a 150 shot. The boat is heavy with a 454 nothing special motor. My Cole t-deck (jet) runs alot faster than the Challenger with about the same HP. The haul has alot to do with it.

My wife and I take 4 12 packs a day of Heiniken light (24 a piece). We always run out by the end of the day on the water.

is it bad to chug beer until it spills all over you? of course, this question is for jet boat hell raisers only. weak at heart need not responde.

Yes it is bad. That is waisting beer. Beer is our friend (for some men it is there only friend) we need to show it the respect it truly deserves. Hale to Beer ;D

The No Wake Zone / Re: What are your memories made of .
« on: January 16, 2007, 03:02:26 PM »
Been boating since I was born. Some of the best memories were the housboating tripes on the Delta. My dad was a jet guy all the way. His first jet was a 74 Challenger with a 455 and a Jacuzzi. He then went to a Dimarco t-deck and then the family got larger and stepped into a Hawaiian 21 ft mini day. All jets. The Dimarco was by far my favorite boat. I have a 77Cole t-deck ( same as The Dimarco) and a 78 Challenger . There were so many great memories on the water, it is in my blood forever.
