No time to finish the project. I'd really like to take it with me but CA to TX is a long haul with ANOTHER project so it's gotta go.

The hull is fairly straight. The ply wood needs replaced (dry rot) but the transom seems to be in really good shape. The gel is done, needs paint and I started to strip the deck. There is no interior other than a couple seat frames. The tanks are in there along with a Jac YJ pump that looks good. The pump does need an intake grate but I can't see any damage to the impeller on it. Steering rack is good but needs a cable and wheel. The floor seems good, these hulls were 1/4 stringer and those look good as well. This sits on a vintage single axle trailer.

This is setup for a 455 olds. Thats the bad part about it. The good part is that I have 99.9% of everything you need to power it up. The machining work needs to be done to the block and a set of pistons. I have 2 nitrided cranks, 1 block, 2 sets of rods, 2 sets of pistons that may or may not work (i haven't checked the bore side of the block and the walls have some rust from sitting). I have an edelbrock manifold, 750 and 850 double pumper carbs, and a bunch of other motor stuff. It's got BRAND NEW heads. They are completely new with larger valves, hard seats, etc.. Still in the bag!. I have all the motor mount plates, water plates, and a set of nikson logs. I need to get this one out of here.

I'll post up some pics tomorrow. I'm at work right now and about 90 miles from the boat. I really posted this on a whim and have been torn between taking it with me or selling it. It would help fund the move though and keep me from having to make another trip back just for the boat. So the math is there 3000 miles @ 10 MPG in the truck at $3 per gallon just doesn't make sense. There was another sleek that went through a complete resto on the HB forums if you need to see what it'll take to do it. My plan was to split the hull (top half off) to replace the wood in the dash, deck, and sides. Then glass it back togther, remove the rub rail, and paint it. I think the parts alone are worth the asking price, the semi-solid hull and trailer are a bonus if you have the time and facilities to complete it.
