Title: 1976 Rogers 18' bubble deck bonneville
Post by: meat4four4 on March 19, 2013, 02:34:00 PM
Reluctantly, I am forced to sell my project. It is completely stripped and ready for gel or paint. I bought it with the intention of competing in comp jet but, I am poor and probably will never be able to compete regularly. Solid stringers. No Rot anywhere. Tandem trailer w/brakes. Have some extra parts, wiring, mounts etc. for the right offer. This is a bonneville, not a cyclone.

Do you have any pics of the transom and the inside.
Projects are a tough sale these days, hell complete boats are hard to sell

Not sure at all. I thought the bonneville had the chines in the rear.

Yep
18' Cyclone (flat deck)had a deep entry bow which had a tendency to bite and spin.
18' Super Cyclone (flat deck)had a shallow entry and a better bottom.
18' Bonneville (bubble deck) on the same bottom. Bubble deck took 6" out of the seating area so the
19' Bonneville TR (bubble deck)came out. New bottom, strakes and drop chines, as Nick stated.
20' Bonneville Classic had a simular bottom to the TR with bigger strakes.
21 VIP Spectra bottom w/ a steeper step in the deck
That's the line up as I recall.
Sorry got a little carried away
