Getting ready to build the new 2008 Hondo so the Brendella has to go. It owes me $4200 exactly and it is a mint ready gor motor with less than 1 hour on custom rebuild. Way to many things to list. Most have seen the boat before I actaully bought it off these boards. Comes with Brand new stainless impeller,tandem trailer,and some other parts. Plus I have brand new parts for a 496 build if interested. I am going all alumunum for the new boat. This boat is flawless and CLEAN setup for 100mph+!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hopefully the mold has a Bennett bottom on it. All the fast Hondo Jets have one thing in common...Post pics when its done, would love to see it.

That picture makes me feel better lol. I just spent hours removing the delta pad on a Hondo, not positive if it would help or not. But this one doesn't haven't the Delta so maybe I am going in the right direction ;D

Hell the price I am asking just covers the work Jack McClure did to the pump. This boat has 4x the $$$ I am asking invetsed before thinking about putting a motor in it.

I just don't list any stuff over here anymore cause nobody seems to buy stuff around here. Im not being cocky but if someone makes an offer on a piece and its not yours then stay away from it.

I don't know if you have been reading my posts but I am partnered up with Hondo Boats. I have talked to Brad and I am gonna advertise on SoCal and probably do some sponsorship stuff to get the name out there.
Since you are a force to be rekoned with in CJ I want to stick a
Hondoboats.com sticker on ur boat and help you out with parts for yout race boat and family boat as well. We don't stock alot of Ford parts but I can get it all at dealer cost and pass that along to you. I can help with all the little parts,(gauges,plumbing, whatevers) as you need them and maybe some fuel costs entries or whatever. Let me know if there is any interest and if I can help save some $$$$ on parts. If you were a Chevy man I would have oodles of stuff for ya right now. Ide have ur boat in triple digits.

people do buy stuff on this site all the time....yeah, parts might not move here as quick as they would on ebay, pb, etc....thats why people cross reference stuff to these sites. im sellin some parts on ebay and theres a few people from this site bidding on my stuff.
whats even more awesome is the generosity that goes on around here where people give each other parts, drive to eachothers places for help, etc. fuckin amazing comrodery that goes on around here.

Posting online is no different to me than talking in person.
What Omar said is no different to me than walking up to a guy in my garage looking at my boat and telling a guy exactly what he posted. If someone had a trade or sale deal going online I wouldn't make a coment like that..
I have sold 2 boats on here and some parts and always dealt fair and have positive dealings with anybody I meet. You guys have a "crew" on this sight that work and see things a little different than "outsiders" do... Sure go ahead and have eachothers backs I don't give a f**k but many who come to this sight as "outsiders" don't seem to hang for very long..
As for my involvment with Hondo?? Well we are working on partnership papers and I am taking over there retail building. I am looking into helping racer's with sponsorship's and funding certain events. You guys don't seem to know how to deal with companies looking to help and get serious with racing. Hell I offered to help this roundy round shit a long time ago and got no response. Actaully after asking some questions about some business on this sight all my posts got deleted.

there are plenty of new people here and we are welcoming to all of them....yes, we bust eachothers balls amongst our 'crew' ....because if we did that to everyone, someone would eventually get their feelings hurt. This is the second reference in a few days i have read where people said theres a 'clique' here. I personally dont feel like there is one. i think the door is wide open and inviting to all to join in at the races, events, conversations on the board, etc. Now how other people see it I would like to know and if there is anything I can do to make your SCJB addiction more pleasant, shoot me a PM. I am always open to positive and negative critisism. I dont know unless you tell me.

I first came upon this site 14 months ago. Since then I have met Brad and Omar and maybe one other person face to face. So what I know of the people here is only their internet personas (sp). I agree there is a lot of "ball busting" and verbal jousting. I don't see it as any different than a locker room at the gym. I also agree there is a tremendous amount of time and energy spent helping out folks that need help. I still consider myself a "newbie" here but I feel much more welcome here than HB, PB, or anywhere else. I lurk a lot in other sites but I rarely post because all of these other sites seem to be one big clique and not very tolerant of outsiders. I am sure in person they are all just regular ole river rats but the sites just don't seem very welcoming. Hats off and beers raised to you Brad (and everyone else).
Blue, don't get all butt hurt cuz someone voices an opinion on your boat. No one is not going to buy your boat because of Omar's opinion (sorry BJ). Most of us are adults here and can make up our own minds about stuff (except 2Sav n Rod>:D). Clearly your boat is worth more than you are asking, let it speak for itself. I read many more positive comments than negative ones, that speaks to the quality of the peeps here. Good luck with the sale, someone is gonna get a real nice ride.
And as long as I am on my soapbox -- I don't think I would want to do 100 mph in any boat with no cav plates. Sorry that's just my opinion and its worth exactly what I was paid for it.

WOW WOW WOW ! :D I have never seen the brendella in person but since you did AQUIRE it from someone else whom I've only seen sell/own super nice stuff , I will assume it's as nice as I think it is and well worth what you want for it .
On the other hand , I have seen Brian's Hondo and it's got an ass kicker of a motor and the entire boat is super fukin clean . Brian keeps some super clean shit . So clean that I dont think (boost) should trade you . You would be ripping him off in my eyes . That is just MY opinion and just like Glasscutter said , My opinion isnt goin to sway any possible buyers .
I spoke with Skip breifly about the brendella and MY opinion was that if I had room (cuz I got the money) I would own it . I love that boat , I always have . I'm too deep into experimenting with mine , I will not turn back .
You dont know any of us and you definatly dont know Ralph :D cuz you never made an effort to meet any of us . I've met lots of folks on here and it wasnt just at the roundy rounds , some of us also meet up at the drags at Ming and at the river . Normally I would apolagize for making a comment and hurting someones feelings , but I think I'll pass this time .

Just for clarification this boat is capable of a hundred safely the way it sits. Turned an MPD B 5700...do the math. To help it go faster it does have the cav plate recesses from the mold available for installation of the plates. This particcular boat came with aluminum blanks installed in the recesses however. This hull is capable of the 110 -112 area. I wouldn't try going any faster than that(actually I wouldn't try over 100, its fast enough)
I think the boat is really nice, but I think I am a little biased. Maybe not the nicest, but one of the cleanest. Boat was built with one thing in mind, hauling ass, thats it. Whoever buys it will get a nice boat that doesn't need a lot of work to be on the water.
And for whoever asked, this boat did have a delta pad. Was removed in the interest of speed and pump loading.

Ur boat is bitching.....I'm looking for a jet to go circle racing with, how would this boat perform as a circle racer?? Particularly how well would it take to rough water conditions and also how well would the boat negociate turns, it obviously has the goods to go fast and straight.

Boat loves chop, if you have the cahones to keep your foot in it. The keel on this thing is about an inch thick, so its ready to take a beating. As far as turning circles, check out the Hurry Round Hondo boat from years past. This is that boat less the t-deck, its one of the more popular hulls for circle racing, atleast historically. Im sure others will argue a liberty is a better hull, probably is, but this hull has a pedigree of its own that is not too shabby. If I was going to race circles, Id go with the stacked tanks, and any of the other necessary hardware.
