This boat needs a little TLC, but would make someone a great ride! We acquired this boat from family this past year and I have tinkered around with it a little, but just don’t have the time to keep tinkering with it. The boat is in overall good shape. The hull looks good and the interior is in pretty good shape. This boat has been in the family for a long time. It has been sitting for a while (in a garage) till we got it this year. We have nowhere to park this boat inside so it is outside now covered with a boat cover.
Even though it has been sitting for quite a few years it did start right up with some fresh gas. The previous owner used the boat until health problems kept them from going to the lake. The boat has some issues that I have found as I have been tinkering with it. The diverter cable is pretty worn (outer casing is dry rotted) and has come loose at the lever (needs to be retightened up), some of the gauges do not work, the ignition switch is acting up and may need to be replaced (there is a remote starter button installed that can be used if the switch doesn’t act right), one of the freeze plugs is leaking, the carburetor seems to have a leak somewhere, needs a new set of plug wires (I put new plugs in while I was tinkering).
For someone who is into this sort of boat this is probably all easy stuff to deal with, but I just don’t have the time or desire to mess with it. (I am a fisherman and working on this speed boat cuts into my fishing time….lol). We would like to sell this boat before winter and get it out of the driveway and into some ones garage that can appreciate it and enjoy it.
Asking $6,000 for boat, motor and trailer.
