Title: 21' Placecraft open bow
Post by: River Dad on August 29, 2009, 08:32:39 PM
Changed my mind on this project and decided to sell it (against the wife's advice).  This boat was aparently a project boat at Placecraft and the bare hull was bought in 2000 (registered as a 2000).  I

it's a 21' opwn bow
nice stereo system with amp
clean interior with no rips or tears
a tandem axle Comp trailer with breaks, chrome rims, low pro tires
Berk pump with aggressor split bowl and low profile hyd place Diverter
Billet hardware
Stainles tips and cav plates
ride plate, shoe, and cradle
full swim step
Wheel mounted PD control
all mounts, driveline for BBCis
all wiring etc
13th Floor folding wakeboard tower with billet board racks

This hull is very clean and just needs somebody that's got more time than money to go thru it.   My plan was to strip it down, buff the hull, and put it back togther cleaned up.  Drop in a BBC, and I think it's a 15-16k boat.   I've got no time for it so I'm changing my plans     $6800 takes it away.

As much as I would try to get this thing and clean it up and drop in a new motor, the $$$ is a little tied up until next season. Dont you guys worry your little pretty heads off....Flytime WILL be back on the water ;D This was the first summer I have been without a boat since I was a teenager. Luckily I was so damn busy this year I barely had time to miis it. Keep lookin just in case. ;D

It needs a new block, but everything else is there.  (pan, rods, pistons, heads, intake, carb, ign, starter, alt, etc.)   The exhaust went with the new Gen VI   motor that I have for the boat.   Oh yeah, also has a matching bimini....

Just got a GENVI 454 roller BBC for it.   Less motor for $6500 or complete for $8500.   Just started to clean it up and this think will turn out VERY nice when it's done.

Ok guys,  if it sells by tomorrow the price is $5900.   The tower and jet pump are worth that.......   $5900 takes it away.  All it needs is a long block 454 (I know you guys can scratch one of those up) and a set of logs......

This would make a great family boat for someone............

GOD DAMN IT! for some reason I thought you got rid of it or were keeping it  :banghead:

Reasons im irritated:

1. Love this boat (hate the roll bar)
2. Have a really nice BBC ready for it
3. Had the money in my hand a lil bit ago and bought another toy! (up for trades + cash my way)?

And a kick while he's down. I wouldn't mess with Bob if I didn't think he could take it.
I'm sure Bob will surprise us with something bitchen for next season. He probably has Jason looking for that perfect ride.

The fridge is now level . I was making a different section of the wood floor to under the back of the fridge so in the event of ANOTHER leak I could easily remove that piece without having to rip up half the damn floor like I have had to do twice already. I'm always thinkin  Sorry for BIG thread jack Jason. Now lets get this boat sold before I come up with money I dont have :banghead:

P.S. Thanks for the memories Ron ;)

Just to be honest,  I paid 6k for the boat about a month and half ago.   I'm just feelin really lazy right now and don't really want to take the time to go thru it all.   My brother really wants it but would have to sell the Caribean he just restored from the ground up to make it work.  I guess 2 little kids and headers just don't seem to work as well as the pre kid stage......
