Title: 84 spectra/Eliminator/North Star
Post by: River Dad on July 14, 2014, 08:59:17 AM: Don't really know what a Northstar is, but that's what the title says... Same hul as a Spectra 19, Elim formula 19, Crusader....... Full stringer and the gel is in awsome shape, zero stress cracks.......

$1000 OBO for the complete rigged boat. Just add power,pump and trailer.

glenn if you want this in only an hr away can probably over a weekend put bit on a dolly trailer and strap not down on my flatbed til you find ac trailer and locknut up on your way home from longbeach races

Thanks Justin, I will know about the trailer in the morning. There is a tree damaged Spectra 19 the next town over, about 1/3 of an oak tree fell across the deck, if I can get the whole boat and trailer on the cheap, that would be the only way I could make buying Jason's deal.

Let you know tomorrow. Supposed to see the dude at lunchtime.

I would say maybe throttle down a little... it's like reading French...

Has a tired Marine Power 454 from another used boat in it, Dominator pump, tired also, gauges are gone, seats are gone, hull is done, no way it could ever be fixed, trailer is bent at the front spring hangers from the weight of the tree, pretty sure an hour on a frame machine and I could have it back to 100%.

I ask they guy "what do you really need to get out of it (I had in my mind $1000, had the cash in my pocket)" The dude looks me right in the face and without hesitation says "$4k firm".. :o

He says the 19 Spectra is a rare boat, this one did 85 mph on GPS (keep in mind it has a 650 spread bore Holley on it).

When I told him "but it's totaled???", he tells me that he knows a dude that can fix it for $900 and he would give me his number... LMAO
I asked him if I could take some pictures of it (it's in a barn) and he says "yeah, once you pay me in full.."

WHA??????????????????????? :o

Whatever guy, have a nice life..

Anyway, long story short. I'm going to have to pass, probably wasn't going to be able to afford the divorce anyway... :-\

Somebody buy this damn thing so I can quit thinking about it. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

This would be a really cool cruiser.

Super clean project boat, almost impossible to find one with clean original gel.

Price drop to $950. This is NOT the typical junk yard $1000 boat... Somebody with some time and a motor laying around should jump at this....
