So....me being me.....flying back to Ohio/Pennsyltuckey in the morning for the auctioning of Pop's stuff, I start poking on Craigs list.....pretty normal thing to do (I scored my second 460 Blower manifold in Atlanta while I was there a few months ago when with Home Depot)
Anyway........This is roughly 1/2 hour from my Mom's place..........Anyone ever heard of them? News to me, but looks a LOT like the Sanger Hydro Nordie had awhile back.......... :sly:

They have a hull like a Daytona. I think they were a Canadian company that closed down and reopened by some people here in the states.
They advertised in HotBoat and even had some boats featured. I think some guys on PB have them, v-drives.
That hull in the ad looks like a the same hull but with the rear gunnels cut back to look like a Sanger pickle. Never seen that before. It looks "custom" ???
Aren't you on some 12 step program for buying project boats? ;D

definately a picklefork, but nowhere close to a sanger! looks bitchen though...

Buy it Ray, hook it the back of the fire truck and drive them home. ::)
I'm not helping with your "program" am I. >:D
Seriously, Its kinda fugly. Looks like they grafted some forks onto a normal hull. Look how wide and deep that thing is by the motor. I do remember seeing one like it somewhere.

couger boats were made about 300 miles from me until the 80s

My uncle had a Cougar 24' tunnel a few years back, some what of a newer hull design though. It was a pretty nice hull but not very common to see, this one looks pretty cool though. Could be a nice ride and is damn near ready to run, I probably wouldn't be a good sponsor in your program.
But just think about how much cooler your google maps aerial will be with another boat shoe horned into the yard!

RUN!
Away from it!
There is absolutley nothing there ...
Paint is hideous $$$$$$$
Trailer...$$$$$$$
new mill...$$$$$$
Ahhhh who am I kidding.

Jet hydros have never to my knowledge performed very well. The center pod is everything since that is about all that the boat will ride on. That means if it doesn't have something like a v-bottom profile on the pod it might well do high speed lefty righties and rock when not wanted. Looks cool and if what he's say'n is true the price for a good motor and pump would be far more than what he is asking.
