Title: Feeler for Trash sale..
Post by: GT Jets on November 07, 2010, 10:18:19 AM
I am throwing this out there to see if any body out there is even slightly interested in White Trash I

I will more than likely have the pump installed and completely fresh including a stainless steel A GTH impeller, GTH race shaft, GTH hand hole cover that has been custom fit, GTH double drilled bearing cap, stuffer plate, split bowl double drilled on both ends, full on plate type loader, Place Diverter (late style) Manual....You would have a hard time building a nicer pump.

The bottom has been blocked flat and speed coated on the ride area...

This is a pretty light hull and has 1" Mahogany full stringers and has been braced (by me) on the gunwales and the front bulkhead, also I blocked in the fuel tanks (2 aluminum IMCO's) because I hated the way they were installed...

Newer gauges, Billet steering wheel all new wiring and others.....

Let me know, not looking to get rich off of it, but can't afford to give it away either... ;)

The only real issues are small, I have some fiberglass buckets that I have not installed nor had the vinyl covers made yet, also there are some stress cracks here and there due to the lightness of the layup, which I have addressed by reinforcing the gunwales...

I was not going to worry about fixing them (was going to try to go Nostalgia Jet racing, but way too busy for the next 18 months on a work project that will eat all my weekends..., But I have work.

I found out last month that my 454 crank has a crack all the way around the rear flange and is junk, so I can get you an almost complete big block Chevy to go with, I am trying to find a crank right now, so that will be updated... :-\

The motor is a gen IV 454 two bolt block, forged Speed Pro's, all new Comp Cams valve train (flat tappet), and many other parts including but not limited to a set of Rewarder Twisties, Dooley 10 qt. pan, Dooley stainless single carb scoop (the longer one) and enough braided hoses to plumb it...

This boat will run an honest 80MPH with 500 HP and drives like a dream, used to get sketchy above that, which is the reason for the Droop...

I will get more pictures when the rain quits, but here are two I took last night (at 11:30 PM  :screwy: )...

If even a little interested, hit me with the almighty PM... 8)

Bakersfield is about a 3 hour haul from Morgan Hill, I am 15 minutes south of San Jose...May be able to meet somewhere in between though :-\

I would like to get $3000 for everything, may even be able to scare up a good steel crank for the big block....
