One of the coolest cruisers I have ever seen had the "simulated wood grain" and the guy took it to a pinstriper and had lines striped lenthwise and breaks vertically then had screw plus painted to make the wood look like planks like an old Chris, made a huge differvce in the feel of the boat, people stopped to look at it everywhere he went.

I like the look of the wood.
