what type of hull, 21 foot mini day?....smaller?
(project?)
-
Day cruiser, more like a nordic day cruiser style, my Kona has a huge crack in it, it must of been there for a while and now just noticing it would like a Berkley jet also if it has a pump with it
-
But I'm intrested in all kinds of hulls just want to see what's out there but would honestly like a day cruiser hahaha
-
Project?
Or.....
-
Ya pretty much I have a motor and everything just need a hull to start all over with it sucks but gotta what I gotta do
-
I may have what you need.
Sending you a pm.

20' Spectra, 1/4 stringer, all original. Motor pulled but everything else is there, set up for a BBF/Berkley combo. Trailer had $1K worth of rehab and has only been used once since. $2500 but cash makes people do crazy things.

Can you send pictures please than you I appreciate it

My pictures are kind of limited. The boat is kept a half hour away from home and my cell phone's camera is broken. A couple that will give you a general idea can be found here. http://www.socaljetboats.com/project-boats/fs-1978-spectra-20/ (http://www.socaljetboats.com/project-boats/fs-1978-spectra-20/)
An honest assessment is the hull is solid but an ugly color. The carpet is a mess but the interior is good enough for a few seasons. The engine cover and jump seats are junk but the rest of the interior is OK. The hull is a rough water monster, slices through chop better than any boat of its size that I have ever been in, better than my big boat in fact. The hull is a classic and will always be worth more than you have into it if you put a reasonably conservative motor in here. For another thousand I can get you a forged shortblock, exhaust, mounts etc. I am on vacation this week. If you want to arrange to look at it I would be willing to tow it up to Devore so you wouldn't have to drive all the way to Corona.

Already tearing it apart hopefully getting new carpet put in
-
Hopefully I will have it done this season if not there are plenty more!!!!
-
Here was the start of the project, started to take everything out
-
Finally got most of the carpet out that was a pain in the ass it didn't want to come out took me a week to tear it out and sand it down a bit
-
Painted the stringers with a rhino line material came out great and gotta love the purple sheet to cover the pump, also had to do a bunch of fiberglass work to hold the tanks in and the back of the pump before I sprayed anything down I thought I had pictures but guess not
-
Used 190 wall aluminum for extra strength for the stringers since it was set up for a 460 and I'm putting a 455 in it
-
The other side
-
After lifting the motor in and out a few times finally got all the motor mounts in took half the day just to do this haha but I'm pretty happy with it and def worth the money for that extra strength
-
Finally she is in just in time to watch the fight!!! The reason for mounting the motor before I did interior and carpet is because I didn't know how far I could put my seats because of the 455 I'm putting in it, and the 460 it had before rubbed the back seat, kinda threw the plans off but I will be posting the carpet and all the interior instalation
-
Carpet is done
