eh $3k will get you a running boat these days.  unkown condition motor, probably procomp heads, the boat is PINK, and i dunno who VARNISH'es their boat interior... no details on the pump at all, tons of missing parts, the motor is sitting in the boat crooked.  i think it'll turn into a bigger project than what they lead it on to be.

more of a $1500'ish-2k boat to me.

Damn I take a leave of absense and you became the resident jetboat expert, if that motor checked out good then the project is worth it, do the math on your project and tell us how much you spent. For the record I would take a bahner layup way before a Tahiti layup. Yes I owned a Tahiti, and I absolutley loved it. If I had the coin I would snatch it up just for the motor and if it all checked out I would just flip the whole operation. I love how quick you are to judge, maybe you should just keep hanging out with all the ballers on other forums, oh and for the record there's some guys running massaged pro comp heads make some big numbers...

exactly, look at my project and how much work and money is involved.  little things here, little things there.  shit adds up QUICK!

im quick to judge because i too have my fingers out there searching for a hull and i see whats out there for the coin.  id take anything over a tahiti (a $30k hawaii wedding REALLY puts a hitch in my boat plans...), i know im driving a POS you're not the first to point that out.  but i sure as hell wouldnt pay close to $3k for a halfass put together unknown condition boat project.

procomp anything is junk. the amount of work needed to put into them to just get everything squared up you couldve just invested into a set of REAL aluminum heads.  in the end would you rather have a set of $1500-2k name brand heads or "procomp massaged big number heads"?

Famn I never said your boat is a Pyle, as I recall I said I owned a Tahiti that I loved, what bothers me is you turn your nose up to everything that is put up. Did you not modify your boat? so somehow your yellow Tahiti is better than a pink bahner? The colors on the pink bahner can be changed like the name of your hull can be changed...you sound like the person who wants the best for free instead of being modest you just clearly shoot it down. Have you forgotten your a jet boater and yet you have to park your boat at work? Yet you want to shoot everything down. your turds must smell like roses

i dont turn my nose up. i never said it was a bad boat.  i said i dont think its worth $3k.  not sure why you feel the need to put so much effort in defending a pink boat that isnt even yours.  i never said it was better either.  i dont want anything for FREE and you can ask anyone here that has helped me with my boat that i do NOT take handouts either.  my boat is parked in my garage.  i tried parking it at my condo but i guess in the fine print it wasnt considered a "vehicle" and i couldnt park it there anymore.  i parked it at work and they were fine with me having it there.  it was underground and has security guards.  it was the next best place to put it at the time, and it was one of the major reasons for me deciding to sell and moving into my home.

basically what im getting at is that everything ive said was towards some random boat on craigslist yet you've made it a point to personally flame me.  nice work tough guy.  you're a winner.
