Nice boat, I'm assuming that's the one Busby had for sale? Good luck with your build, I'm at about the same spot you are, keep us posted.

Got several motor combo's available for a good price if you're interested...   I'm tired of dealing with junk yard stuff, so I'm going to be selling a few new motors.  From now on, I'll just take it the shop and make sure that it checks out and sell fresh stuff. Seems like everything used turns up having issues. Got a fresh 4 bolt 454 just back from the machine shop, .030 Kieth Black pistons, HD Chevy rods with new ARP 7/16 bolts, and a steel forged .020 std stroke crank. The machine work was done by Osborne Machine and the assembly was balanced.  Set up for pump gas with a new Comp cam and lifter set and Fel Pro Perf gasket set.   The parts are still wrapped and I'm just getting ready to assemble it.  All clearances are set up for marine app and the cam is set for  a jet pump app with an A imp, looking for around 4900-5300 RPM.  Would work well with a nice set of ovals, and I have two new fresh sets that would work well, one set is a raised exaust port Merlin open chamber with stainless valves that would be really nice.   let me know if you're interested.  Jason

right now it looks like its getting a bbf that i have but thanks i will keep you in mind if i change my mind thecraz

OK,  good luck with the project ;)  I was eye'n that thing pretty hard but couldn't  move my other projects to make it happen.  That's a nice boat!!!!!

right now its at GS marine getting buffed and the intake put in and the jet rebuilt

with those graphics it looks like a mach 5 speed racer boat...lol
