Title: Proppy's boat sale
Post by: propless on April 01, 2009, 10:09:55 AM
First we have a 77ish Tahiti, needs everything, bad floor, single axle trailer.  Come get it, FREE.  No paper work on boat or trailer. Might make a nice sand box or yard art?    Gone, I cut it up.   >:D

 [attachthumb=1]  [attachthumb=2]

Next we have a 77 Lancer (Tahiti splash), set up for BBF, everything is there minus motor and exhaust. Nice Autometer gauges (with senders)  This boat has a Jacuzzi YJ pump that needs to be rebuilt, it works but is loose.  Single axle trailer.  I might throw in a buildable Berk JC pump if someone wants to convert it.  $1000 or make offer.
Here's a link to its bottom repair thread (no secrets here). It has been fine after the repair and shows no signs of any more cracking.

Next we have the Little Eliminator  :-\ .   Its turn key minus motor (I should say flick switch and push button minus motor)  It will still need some work on the set up (plate adjustments, etc)  This is a rocker bottom boat and was Busbys old Drag boat.  And yea it still needs the fenders mounted.
Heres a link to its build.
http://www.socaljetboats.com/index.php?topic=3365.0
And a few finished pics.  $3000 obo
 (https://www.socaljetboats.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi239.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fff97%2Fpropless%2FPICT0006-1-6.jpg&hash=3ddcd625f5fd45f6997099784e78c4cd323914cc)

Next there is the old flat bottom, its a 73 Eliminator, no HID# it was covered during the wood deck conversion. Its set up for BBC and is mostly all there, the hull is badly delaminating on the deck and stringers , so its realy just good for parts.  Make offer.  Sale on hold for now, might part it out.

No the Daytona is not on the list, it already has a couple interested buyers.  If it doesnt work out I'll add it to the list.

Ralph,  I don't think the cav plates or hardware would be of much use for a jet.  I thought about it for the little Eliminator, but I think the only thing that could be used on a jet would be the handle and some of the shafts (if you cut them up),  and there is no down pedal just a handle.

 GT,
 No, not buying an Ultra.

 Brad,
I know what your thinking, but its NOT an April fools joke.  Everything is for sale.

Um , i call BULLSHIT............

No secrets here Steve.  I'm buying a jet ski.  :screwy:

Seriously, there's just to many things to work on around here.  If I can get rid of all of them I'm going to look for a 19' Daytona (or similar) and put all my efforts into one thing.  Building a MONSTER !!!  >:D

The 21 is just bigger and will take more power to the same thing as a 19.  But I am going to try to save it as the last one to go, just in case.  ;)

Not realy interested in the Ultra Tom, but we could talk about some trades for that ogange tunnel thats been sitting upside down in your parking lot for wayyyyyy to long.  ;D

Come on guys, make some offers,  The Lancer is a decent little boat.  Drop in a junk yard 460 and be on the water.  The YJ pump will be fine with stock power, and it comes with a buildable Berkeley JC if you want to swap it.

If nobody claims the Tahiti by Sunday its going to get the sawzall.

 Tahiti is gone  >:D

 [attachimg=1]

Think I might part out the flat (not sure yet),  I checked it out today and found out it has a 10deg V-drive in it and 7 deg prop shaft angle (the good stuff, from what I'm told), so its off the list for now.  ;)

Correct, Its like the bottom of a rocking chair. It makes the hull want to rock back and carry the bow high.

Actualy no, but its just like this pic of the flat (same year, same builder). If you look at he hull compaired to the trailer you can see how much it curves up at the transom, and actually you can see that the entire length of the hull is curved .  It does that all the way across the boat.

do you still have the eliminator?

Yea, still have both of them.

 The Tahiti is gone.
The Lancer just sold last Monday.
 Both Eliminators are still here.

I hurt the motor in the blue one, so I'm open to any offers depending on how complete someone wants it.  Its to bad decause I was just starting understand how to get the hull to work.  It was working fairly good on the last trip even with the motor hurt and only turning 4100rpm.

Heres a few shots from Mendota, and Pine flat.

I'm tearing the motor out of little Eliminator this week.  Last chance before it goes on craigslist.

 73 Eliminator jet.
$1700  obo, complete (minus motor), with a rebuildable JC pump (polished bowl).  Thats, boat, trailer (w/ swing away toung), seats (2), rail kit (8 ft rails)with BBF motor plates (all polished), fuel tanks (polished), pump brace (polished) alternator and mounts (drives from the front of the pump), diverter (polished), water pressure regulator, gauges, steering, driveline,  No headers (I might need them).  Basicaly everything you need except a motor, headers, and a pump rebuild kit.   If you move the battery to the back of the boat there is plenty of room to add a back seat.  Titles and current reg on boat and trailer.

2 weeks ago a Mendota, stiil needs some fine tunning on the plates but its getting there.

Last chance on this one too.

 73 Eliminator flatbottom.
$800 SOLD  It has a 10 deg V-drive (Casale split case), BBC motor plates, no seats, steering works and V-drive goes in and out of gear and turns easily,  cav plates with handle only (no down pedal), some kind of 2 blade prop, a pair of big meat cleaver looking fins under it, and a decent tandum trailer (no paper work on trailer).  Hull is BADLY delaminated, this is parts in the form of a boat.  Hull has title and current reg.
