I tried Salem to independence but it didn't  work out to well, mostly  the Columbia or willamete gonna try Detroit this year how about you?

I launch in Independence and run up river and hang around there. Just gotta avoid all the floaters once the river warms up. Detroit looks like it could be ok but there are always so many white caps and chop there. I prefer the river for the jet boating

I would run Detroit and be off the water by 10:30 and hop in big boats. Evenings can bring good water too!
