I picked this boat up locally, in trade for a nice, running '94 Seadoo SP.  I knew the motor was locked when I looked it it, but the hull is VERY solid, and the gel is mostly glossy still.  The underside is nearly flawless.  The original owner bought it off the lot in '71, and passed away recently.  His daughter would have preferred to restore it and run it, but that wasn't realistic, and they knew it.

It was last registered in '79, and that matches the trailer plates as well.  The motor had been taken down to a long-block for some reason, and was never fully reassembled.  As time marched on, it was left to sit in the barn in the back of the property until it collapsed a few years ago.  Somewhere in that time, water (3 gallons worth) made its way into the unbolted intake and distributor openings, and it's fate was sealed.  He passed on, and now his kids are dealing with the estate.  I took the boat on trade and plan on bringing her back to the water in the near future.  I have 7 kids ages 11 and under, and I want them to grow up out on the water like I did with my parents.  So without further ado, Here she is. 

First 2 are as I found her, next 4 are the engine damage, the second to last is the now cleaned out sump/bilge area, and finally, who on EARTH puts seats next to the engine???


2 bores are so severely corroded it would need to be sleeved to have a chance to live again.
