'79 Nordic bubble deck

I figured that now that I am getting into my build I would star a thread. Over the lat couple months I have pretty much striped my Nordic back to a bear hull. I getting ready to start putting new stringers in. I'm probably going to start tomorrow sanding where the existing stringers were and start prepping for the new ones.

I also took a page from steves86ta and bought some of the metal cast paint and redid my gauge bezels, steering wheel adapter, shifter knob, fuel fills and the breathers on the valve covers. They turned out great. I know the boat needs to be painted but I am going to wait till next season for that.

Getting closer. Just have to grind under the bow and clean all of the fiberglass dust out and I'm ready to start laying out for the cuts on the stringers. Slowly but surely it's getting there. Any advice on cutting the stringers to match up with the hull? What's the best way to lay them out? Thanks guys.

Need a little advice on cutting the angles on my stringers. How do I cut them and with what? I am getting close to this point and I want to know some different ways that I can get it right. I don't want to ruin any of my stringers. Thanks

Is the boat still on the trailer? Most guys will put the boat some sort of dolly that supports the full structure of the boat. You may end up with a hook or rocker in the bottom if it's not supported correctly. As far as getting the stringers in place I've seen guys make a jig to hold them in place and straight while they're being glassed in.

It's off the trailer I built supports for it. I just want to know how to go about cutting the angle of the hull on the bottom of the stringer.

Ok. How do you get the table saw to do the curve going up to the bow. I'm new at doing this so sorry for the 20 questions. Lol. I just want to get this right

. You can only cut the angle where it would be straight. How much does your stringers curve up?

Here is a picture of one of the stringers I pulled out. It looks like it starts tapering up at about the 5' from the front of the stringer

a skill saw will work to cut both angle at the same time.

Ok so start out with the table saw and cut the full length and then do the radius with the skill saw. How do I go about finding the angle of the cut?
