. You could do it all with the skill saw as far as the angle lots of ways to get it. You can use a angle finder but it is just as easy to get a 2x6 and take a guess. Adjust after your first try you should be able to get it real close if not third time a charm. Once you get the angle use your old stringer as a pattern for your curve at the bow. You might have a member close by that may give you a hand.

My boat looks like it's under quarantine. Put up plastic to try to keep the majority of the fiberglass dust out of the rest of my garage. Seemed to work pretty well. Got the old stringer fiber glass out now it's just some clean up and ready for new stringers and glass.

Well I took a day off from the boat but I did a little work on the trailer. I had to raise one of the bunk supports and reweld it on and one of the supports was almost broken off so I welded it back up. I'm glad to be a Pipefitter/welder so I can do this stuff on my own.

Started prepping the trailer for paint. Probably won't get to do much with the trailer this weekend due to the rain but hopefully by next week I have it painted and the new bunks on it.

Alright guy. I have a question about the prep for my stringers. How far to either side of the stringer do I need to prep before I'm ready to lay down fiberglass? I have everything that was around the stringer prepped but how far back do I need to go? Do I have to take it down to the original glass or am I overthinking this? Here is a picture of where I am now. Any feed back will help. Thanks guys and gals.
