Sorry Jim. It's been a couple months of asking to get mine to help on anything on my boat. She's not really a boat person so it took her a bit to get interested lol

Didn't get much progress on the hull this weekend but did get a little grinding for the stringers. Also added a little color to my nozzle. I think it will look pretty good on the red and white boat.

The base i used the appliances epoxy and then I put the metal cast paint over it with a wheel clear coat. If it doesn't last it's ok because when I have the boat painted this next winter I will have the jet and all the parts powder coated to match.

Well the trailer is just about ready for paint. Just a little more stripping tomorrow and it will be ready. It got too dark to take pictures but I will take them tomorrow when it's done. Had to take a break from grinding fiberglass so I figured I would work on the trailer a bit. I will probably be back under the bow of the boat tomorrow to finish so I can get those stringers in.

Got the trailer primed and the first coat of paint on. The only picture I have is the primer. It was getting dark when I finished up so I couldn't get a picture. I hope to have the color on it tomorrow and pictures. Also I ordered my diverter handle. I love the way it looks, a friend of my family had one in his boat when I was a kid and always wanted one when I got a boat. I should get it sometime next week.

Well here is a rough look at what the trailer will look like. I'm going to leave the axels grey but I ran out of red paint.

Nice.
You spraying or rolling paint on? What are you using to mask off ground and area if spraying?

It's spray. I am using painters drop cloths, the cheep plastic ones you buy at Home Depot or lows. I also got the new bunks and carpet on. Just about ready to put the wheels and tires back on. I have to go get one fixed due to a slow leak in the tire.

I think I am going to be in the same time frame. I'm having shoulder surgery the day after the first meet. So I will be in listing some help from the neighbors to get it finished up.

Well I'm back at the sanding after taking yesterday off for my birthday. Got my diverter handle yesterday. Great birthday present. Also my parents are going to give me money to put towards the engine. I'm actually working on the boat right now, figured I would start working some night shifts on it due to the temp in the garage during the day.
