Had the stringers, transom, and front bulkhead glassed, flowcoated then gelled to match.

Thanks, the original colors were off white with brown. Now its off white with orange and a gold pearl. The inside was all carpet and I thought it would look with some orange gelcoat and carpet set between the stringers.

I liked it with the dart too, but I felt like it dated it in the mid to late 70's. I wanted to avoid narrowing the year down by the paint sceme. This is simple and I wont get tired of it.

Picked the boat up today. Sal did a great job, but the color was much different than the pic I had of another boat he had done. I like this color much better, kind of a creamy orange which gives it a more nostalgia look. The trailer is way to orange now. I dont know if I can make it blend in with some heavy pin stripping in the off white and orange that matches the boat or do I get another complete repaint.

I really doubt it....im sure he had them painted on while it was there with matching paint.

if it was ...imagine if this boat ever crossed state lines between ownerships....i would use every name in the book for the previous owner

Forgot to post a pic of the scoop. I think its close to what your looking for Brad. CF#'s are painted on Mark. Sal's a great guy, all he cares about is that you are happy when you leave with your boat. I told him to I'd be back with another boat as soon as I recover from this one.

If the sun comes out this afternoon I want to bolt the pump back in and the rail kit. As far as the pump goes, what do you torque the bolts to. I was at Roy Miersh's (?) shop a couple of years ago and as I recall he said something like 10lbs and he uses a little white grease on the gasket.

Pictures dont do the boat justice, it looks amazing. I was up looking at it today and im glad the dart on the deck got taken off. But it looks great. they did a great job!

Thanks for all the complements. Did get the pump and the rail kit in today. Still need some torque specs before I put the transom cover back on. All day I just couldn't stop looking at the trailer, there's no way to make it look right without shooting the whole thing over again, I f**k that up big time. Now I have to face the painter or shoot it my self.

the 2 oranges dont really go. at first its not that bad but the more you look at it the worse it gets. I think its easier to re shoot a trailer than re gel a boat. And the orange on the boat is the better color
