White Trash's rework
« on: June 16, 2008, 11:00:01 PM »
OK, got the pump all torn apart and everything looks better than expected, that ugly-ass wood spacer between the transom and the pump adapter is no more, this was a major source of my water leak because the bottom was all rotted out from the standing water.

Now just trying to figure out the cleanest way to get the fit right on the pump, while I'm at it, changing out JC bowl to a double drilled JG and snoot (boat needs a little help in area of bow lift) Still going to use diverter though, still up in the air...

Stupid late update...

Have not had the time to tinker on the Trash, so I actually got a weekend off due to rain...  Hey, I'll take it. :sly:

Got the mock up done on the pump cover....I am at a loss, I guess I have to get pretty creative.

It's close, but not the way I want it, so gonna spend some quality time with some grinders, belt sanders and glass and resin... ;)

I was going to reset the intake, but the intake is really solid and the bottom has already been dialed in from a blueprint standpoint (even Speed Coated)...

Any body want to buy a 90% complete project ? I don't know how much time I will have to throw at this one.

Worthless without the pics, soooo...

Should have the motor back together this weekend if I don't go to Long Beach......Decisions, decisions.... :-\

Been struggling with cam choice and time to myself to sip some bourbon and do some precise measuring and assembling..... Doesn't sound too bad when I put it that way does it?

Still want to go see the circle races though....Major quagmire.
