i got the scoop mounted to the tray today.

I am using dzus fasteners on to mount it to the tray.
I drilled 1/2 inch hole then counter sunk the fiberglass so the dzus fastener would sit flat.

I did all of the holes and marked the scoop tray. Then i pop riveted the dzus fasteners on the scoop

after that i pop riveted the wires that keep the scoop on the tray

its getting there

Nice! I like the dzus fasteners, gives it that "race" look.

I've gotten really good with a jigsaw. Haha traced the circle and drilled holes to fit the jigsaw blade. Wd-40 and a good metal blade.

well got most of the wiring done today. All that left is to hook up the battery and starter, run the wire up to the dash and hook up the gauges and start button and ect.
Also got the start button, bildge pump switch, and the gauges in as well.  Excuse the grease and dirt on the dash.  :screwy:

Picked up about half of the fittings from one of my sponsors for the 177 boat this afternoon. Man that really helps lol Just one of the Hose ends was 15.00$ Da Hell!!!????

I am pluming all the fuel with -8 AN's and stainless steel line.
The water will be -8AN's in to an gate valve and a pressure relief valve. -10 AN out.

Anybody who had done this knows that it sucks. But..... I picked up a tool that makes putting the fittings on the hose super easy!!!!! :screwy: :sly: >:D ;D

Its called the KOUL TOOL. You put the part of the AN that goes over the hose in the KoUl tool
BUY THIS TOOL! It makes assembling AN's easy!!!!!

Close it and put it in a vise and push the line in. Boom Done!

I need to pick up another 1/4NPT to -8 90* for the in side of the fuel pump. It wont fit wit a straight AN. It hits the Oil filter. Also need to pick up a inline fuel filter at some point.
