Does anybody know anything about who manufactures the hornet style boat I don't see anything about them much but yet that's what it says on my pink slip.

I was told that hornet was the original maker of that bottom which was splashed by Liberty and Hawaiian. The bottom of those boats are proven to work.

+2, could you snap a pic of the transom? I have a hull made by sun mfg co out of Anaheim and it has angled gauge pods molded into the dash and the bottom on it just looks like it was made to go, the strakes are maybe 1/4-1/2 in deep and the outer chines are almost 2 1/2 in deep. Not to mention its a full stringer boat and I can pick it up by myself. It's stupid light, I grabbed the back side and was able to pick it up over my head.

I just find this hull a little odd because the hull vin was not molded with the boat it was added later.
