well i decided it was time to dig the hawaiin out and tear into the floor before i install the moter, boy i didnt expect this. the floor was solid but it allways leaked a little water into the engine compartment so i figured there was some water in there. oldrigger if you read this i need some guidance if you could?
i dont know what i'm doing, i'm just doing.

this is what i saw when i removed the carpet so i went in

yes that is water and foam allong with the rotted stringer

i still dont understand why these peices of 2x4 are on the stringer. funny thing about the stringer is it's not glassed just a couple of places about a foot long to hold it down to the hull.

i still need to get that triangle peice from under the bow but i was too tired and ITCHY >:(

hey ralph bad ass ford just replaced his floor in his kona looked the same he got all the old out reglassed the stringers and put the knew floor in he used kitty hair to fill any gaps before he glassed then a couple strips of glass then a shit load of ressin hope this helps a little goood luck brother and it better have a FORD when its done ;D
