Title: 1978 horizon holmes 18ft hydra-flight jet boat

Hi i've came accross a 1978 horizon holmes 18ft hydra-flight jet boat,( it is not the one with the funny looking bat wing thing) it has a gm 454 engine with a berkeley jet drive. Does anyone know anything about these boats....? Like production numbers, maybe how many were made, or what types of boats holmes made in costa mesa california

I have a 72 Horizon with a 454 BBC that is still the original green metalic so it loooks like the 70's still.  There is not much inf on these at all!!!!  I have only found one add and I will post the pic of that and some of mine and we need to see some pics of you float also.  If you find any info or if I find anything I will let ya know.  I like them because iof there unique designs

Thank you for sharing your info and pictures, all info and pictures on this make of boat would help the happy owners know more about there toys history. Again thank you scjb members for all helpfull info, advice  and pictures.

ITs nice to see  another  holmes horizon out there. I have a  Jetta model  Horizon. The  dash  I have on mine  is just  like yours. Can you  show  a picture  from the  back   of your  Horizon.
