I have a 78 Sleekcraft Kauai looking for some info can't find that much on them. What years did they make this model, if they were a popular boat, what paint schemes and colors (trying to see if mine is original) found one other on the internet. And maybe what ever anyone can tell me about it. Thinking of selling don't really have the room, needs a complete interior but the paint is in decent shape. Any help would be a good thing can post pics if needed. Thanks in advanced

I dunno what Mark was trying to post, but it was probably irrelevant anyway >:D
The 19' Kauai was actually one of the most popular of the Sleek hulls! Very solid, and a cross between the 18' Rebel and the 21' Executive Kinda.
Bowrider's had 2. His latest is a very limited paint sceme much like his first. Most were pretty plain jane though.
Very cool boats thugh!!

can't fine that much about the boat on the East coast. I bought the boat to put a motor spare motor in and have some fun and it turned into a small project. My spare motor has to much HP for this boat, and answered an ad and happen to be my dads old sanger hydro the way he sold it. To make a long story short I bought the hydro and I'm refreshening. Don't really have the room to keep both boats and the rest of my toys but can't put the kids in the hydro. Guess I'm keeping it and can't get any calls on my ad for selling boat, trailer, and fresh 468 for $2800.00. Thanks for any help

Define "too much HP" to me? :screwy:
I'm about to drop 1000+ HP into that hulls little sister. Same JE pump too! >:D

my spare motor has a little more that. I was told that the boat having 1/4 stringers and no work done to the pump that it was a waste of time Thats when I started looking for a V-drive boat. And now I find out that my new door car is coming at the beginning of next week two months early so this boat has got to go. make me an offer.
