Title: 20' spectra jet

Thanks Brad. Brad knew I was lookin for a family ride and he sent me a link to a 20' spectra. I bought it from the family of the original owner. They had all of the OG paperwork. They bought it new in 76' and had all the receipts, brochures, and even a business card from burbank boats where they bought it. It needs lots of love , but I'll be postin some progress pics. :screwy:

well since the motor sat with water in it for several years, I was worried that the block was not going to clean up. Well, I got lucky. ARE was able to save the block.

in the hone. Bore was 4.280 and cleaned up nice at 4.320

sizing each slug per hole!!! i want those new JE pistons happy.

got the cam bearings installed today and then I was able to finish the bottom end.

heads were holding up the project. Finally got um today.

got the engine running the other day!!!! Got sidetracked ......
