So I'm at home fighting a nasty head cold and got stir crazy from sitting around the house...so decided to work on the boat.

I haven't made any updates on this thread really. I finally got the motor dialed in. Had some issues with the carb but got those ironed out.

Some of you might have read on another thread that I had some issues with the engine hatch. It flew off...ripped the hinges out....and was run over by an 18 wheeler. Its beyond repair but there's enough of it to use as a template.

These things are built a little more intracate than expected....so I'll post some progress pics....but first here is the damage

that doesnt look too bad to replicate.  no curves, etc. 

Forgot to add this picture. I went around and cut the fiberglass at all the seems....when I tapped it a few times with a rubber mallet, it fell as you see it in the previous post

what do the holes on the hull side look like?  did it shear the bolts or completely rip out the fiberglass?
