any one on here have a 74 Wreidt Stinger?
-
I think mine is a 73...
-
what do you have in it? i am replacing the 454 with a 4bolt 454 with all the goodies. should be fun. keep running into snags though. iam waiting on a Miloden Marine pan, when i put the new engine in i was hitting the oil pan on the intake of the Berkeley jet. when i put the old Hardin exaust manifolds i am hitting the new after market head bolts. i am hoping to have it ready by the middle of May?

i've got a 74 Wriedt had the same problem with the oil pan hitting ,just raised it up a bit off the intake ,works great.
-
it came with a 455 olds but i put a BBC in it

if you "just" raised the motor, what did you do about the short drive shaft? do you know how deep your pan is? i ordered a Canton Marine 8' oil pan for it. the stock pan was 9" deep. i am hoping NOT to have to order the Milodon 7 1/2" oil pan.
