Day 47 - DONE with the bottom 100% flipping back over tomorrow night for the "last time"

decided to wet sand 1k, 2k - cut polished - ceramic polished, man the paint feels good all cut down. no more sharp edges from color to color

We've been doing a lot of polishing, fitting some items. Wired the dash all up and prepped the harness from dash to transom. Got the rails dialed in. Started on the gas tanks, moved the pickup to the bottom, added breathers and a sight tube. Bilge coated the engine bay. Oh, even had time to help @76Mantra455 on his floor repairs, poor guys been getting beat up by shops not coming thru with promised work.

Got the dash/harness and all but three wires connected last night (fuel pump, bilge and oil temp sender). 90% of the stainless hard water lines are done.

Moving on to $1000 worth of AN fittings and hoses for the oil and fuel systems!

Got the hard lines 100% done last night, man I love how they look. Tanks set in but not 100%. Steering cable and helm almost sorted out.
Never looks like much in the pictures but man it's a lot of hours and work just get things to 100%

Waiting on parts now.... We did get a couple of things done over the weekend.
Fab'd a new ride plate and got the pump 100% minus cables.
Sanded 1K, 2K, cut and polished the top side

Waiting on oil and fuel lines so we can finish this build. About 10hrs left when the parts show up.

Test went well, noo leaks and everything works as it should. Only a couple of issues to refine.

I couldn't go over 4k rpm with the temporary water pressure gauge setup we did, it kept blowing the hose off at 25psi.
The pass side header has two pin holes spitting water out and making a mess. Hard spot to weld on and now they are coated, so...... maybe a JB weld solution.

Next test and tune adjust ride plate, wedge, diverter one at a time to see how they effect the boats attitude.

All tests went good, had a blast on our first lake weekend. Only major issue is the headers are cracking and falling apart.
