Title: 75 Hallett 18' 6" mini cruiser.
Post by: Ty64 on May 21, 2017, 01:52:10 PM
New to the forum and thought I would post up my project. First off I had a crack on the bottom we flipped it over and ground out the affected area and repaired and new gel coat. Then put it right side up and found soft spot on floor and torn into them and found the main stringers were good but small sub stringer were rotten.

My wife found an old school soft foam steering wheel at Goodguys car show this weekend in perfect shape. Made my day I had been looking for one for 2 months hard to come by with the soft foam.

Productive weekend gas tanks, Battery boxes and place diverter all mounted. Wiring completed. Fired up engine and broke in the cam all went smooth. Finished buffing and waxed. Had a problem with the diverter not wanting to prime it might be a bad pump will look in to it this week. now just waiting on upholstery and carpet. should be on the water July 1st
