Have the crank machined . Have the rod checked . New crank bearings and lets go ! This motor was fresh when the one bearing decided to let go . Full roller . Good heads for making gobs of torque . Thats what I'd do :-\

Small update. Got the block ready. Bought some new parts, removed more parts, droped the trailer off to get some repairs. Turbo 400 Trans Rebuilt. Tons of fun.

The Boat is gel. Going to have it buffed and all repairs done. Then im going to repaint the yellow with a custom yellow that I had on my 65 Chevy pickup. I will try to get some pix of that thing so you can get the Idea.

When I got my first cruiser with a bow rail, I was going to take it off, but asked a fiberglass shop owner. He pointed to the rafters where several bow rails were stored, and said that a lot of owners want them removed, but he told me that if it was him, he'd leave it. I did leave it on, got used to the look, and found that it really comes in handy putting the boat back on the trailer, holding it at the dock, and moving it at the beach. In terms of the wind shield, some boats look good with one, and some don't--Personally, I like the Spectra look.

Lose 'em both. Especially the windshield. I think the railing makes the boat look smaller and changes the look proportionately (if that makes any sense).
