decided not to go the regulator route as i cant really find a good place to put it.... so i picked up a pair of holley red pumps instead (one for a spare) which do 7psi.

also i have a bit of a dribble in my bilge which i cant really figure out where its coming from.  gonna try a new pan, the old one has a little dent in it, maybe its coming from there...

1 piece felpro gasket = THE BUSINESSSSSS.  screw those 4 piece cork sets.

1 valve cover, timing cover, water pump, front and rear mounts, and pulley polished.  just need to polish up the other cover.  they're a PAIN with putting the boat in salt water and corrode easily.  i had to wetsand em down to get rid of the spots...

IMO use the stiffer springs.

IMO use the stiffer springs.

Why?

I would use the sloppiest springs. She won't be pulling any load at the lower RPMs, so let it come in stupid fast.

The only thing the lower ignition timing is good for is starting.

Just needed to throw my opinion out there....C:-)
