Flat Jet
« on: February 28, 2010, 09:18:37 AM »
Heres Our latest aquisition Pretty unusual piece of Jet boat nostalgia , It really is a 69 Flatty that was/is rigged as a jet (no witness holes or repairs from prior any prior V-drive riggings) although it need some TLC on the exterior The hull is in very good condition Check it out!

Very cool Tommy.

This is Creg and Vee's all original Hemi powered jet flat.  It's wild to ride in but so damn cool

The pictures dont do this boat justice. It's all original and looks like they just pulled away from the dealership in 1965.

As far as how it handles, kinda like driving on ice when we were kids.  Pitch in the corner and let it sliiiiiiide around with the throttle on.  Tons of fun and nothing like I've ever experiance in a boat.   Definately not a rough water boat though...
