Hey SCJB!! Awesome Site!! I Picked Up a '72 Cobra Jet bbf 460 awhile back after a buddy took me out in his hallett. Im hooked!! I tore it down to redo everything my way. Got The interior done. Gettin ready for new gel coat!! after the gel coat im wanting to do a stringer kit an make everything look clean!! but really dont know where to start. it has i assume the stock motor mounts an cross member im wanting to get awat from that an get solid mounts preferably polished aluminum.. but im stuck on from where to start an go since im new to this i know you guys are full of good advise an no bs.. any pointers?? anything helps. sorry no pics ill get some up soon thx,

There are a couple threads about installing a rail kit here, I'll see what I can find and post a link.

Sweet!! Thx. Eventually will need some help with the berkley.. I work At Empire-Cat In Chandler off Countryclub an the 60.. You drive a long A$$ ways!!! BEER IS GOOD! An for the Emu's I wouldnt F@$% with them...

My drive is only 24 miles one way, takes about 35 minutes, ain't as far as you probably drive, lol.

Its about the same 25 miles one way.. what shop does your uncle work in? Im one of the painters for Empire. Everyone kinda lays low of the radar after this last layoff about a month ago.. There aint nobody really left. Sh!ts gettin scary. Ima try an get some pics posted this weekend for sure...

My uncle retired (the second time) about a year and a half ago from there. Ran the Machine Shop for 30 some years. Last month I guess they were trying to get him to come back again. But just thought you might know him. Ask around, I'm sure you'll find someone that knows Ron. (My brother, the boat burner, still does contract work for Empire too that Ron hooked up).

Anyway, offers still, and always, good. More than happy to help out and lend a wrench or a part or two if you need it, welcome to SCJB!
