That foam will never dry out.Cut it out its cancer.
So we ended up cutting out a bigger area of the foam on the right side because we could see that the glass was bad and the foam farther back was bad and wet. We are trying to do this on a low (insert "No") budget due to the fact that I have been out of work for 4 months. However I am trying to keep Bebo motivated and moving ahead. My question is this - Can we use the expanding foam cans to fill the voids? I tested them today and found the following: It sticks very well to almost anything. It appears to be a closed cell and has a very positive buoyancy when I squeeze it and held it under water. It also sanded well which will allow me to shape it as required. I have a couple of cans of this on hand which means that I would not have to buy any foam. Watcha think?
