Dual 650's, stainless A impeller, all the goodies on the pump. Maybe 500 horsepower? Gained 400 rpm's changing jets on Holley 650's. Gonna try 76's all the way around on new quick fuel 650's. I am starting to think that all this polished aluminum, along with the braided lines, is slowing me down... I think that if i polish the muffler bearings it might go faster. Any thoughts???? :screwy:

Nah, just remove the mufflers then there's no bearings to worry about!  >:D

Lookin good! and sounds like its running fine!

That looks like the back beach at Saguaro................Gonna hit that again next Saturday I think (Haven't been back there since the burning and sinking incident with my mini day, lol)

Also looks like you hit the tailgate of your truck much harder than I did at Mead!  (or maybe just reflections from that VERY shiney boat!) ;D  call it the newbie ding.............

Thanks Rebel! This is my fifth season with Basketcase and by far the best its ever run. The pump set back is definitely the best mod to date, extremely comfortable and stable ride. After riding in Kev's boat I realized the difference and all the work was worth every second.
And the pump work  (dollars!) finally showed its worth as well, my buddy with a blown v-drive says "I didnt like the fact i wasnt pulling you like i should!".
My reply was "next year its on! - gonna start on BIG BBF. A460 block, P51 heads, big roller cam blah blah"

As far as the tailgate, thats from letting a buddy load a mini excavator without me checking the tounge lock. That was pretty much the best day ever - not losing the mini during hauling and just a trashed tailgate. Oh yeah, was borrowing the mini. :o

Honestly though, it's based on the number of posts and pics I think. You can see how I've uselessly spent too much time, lol.

I wish! I had to borrow a buddy's mini excavator to dig a gas line trench at my house and trusted his guy to load the trailer to my hitch while drinking a beer. After towing the mini a coupla miles to my place, I go to off load the mini and much like a teeter totter the tongue popped off with a vengence. In the grand scheme of things, it was a very cheap lesson to never let anyone but yourself load a trailer on your vehicle, considering the possible damage of losing a trailer towing a $50k piece of equipment. Note Too Self: pintle hitch!
