Title: bassett headers/water injection
Post by: stoolie on May 31, 2011, 02:18:14 PM
have a new project and first set of water injected bassatt over transom headers....problem is they are rusted out and need to replace the sections where the water lines bolt up. Dose anyone know what size bungs to replace these with and also what kind of fitting is used to screw into them? Any input would be great. Thanks

I go them from Mcmaster Carr when I needed some.  If just one section was bad on one pipe, I'd say do it.  But when you mention sections you are going to be better off with another set of headers.   If you work at an exhaust shop, then maybe you could fix them so you dont have to keep repairing them.

I got mine from grainger. 1/8"npt coupler cut in half. All you need is 4 and it was like 8$
