Hi Everyone, My Names Steve Hock, Been in Car audio and fiberglass fab. for a long time, and recently I've been using a lot of the techniques on boats. We took this from a crap throw away hull to where it is now, I just recently started the picture taking so we'll begin the Pics where things start to get fun.


Here's how the ass end is looking after we did the outside repairs, painted it, dropped in a fat motor, and added some blue

Now for reasons I have no desire to explain I'm building the interior after the painting is done. So I figured I will start from the back and move forward. So before that we had to get the boat off of the trailer so It could get painted

With the firewall in place I got the base for the hatch








 To keep the weight down I'm using a lot of fiberglass, but to lay glass I need a good frame. So I started with the ribs

RibS! I catch a lot of flack for using MDF on parts of boats But Seriously, Water is not going to reach through the Surfacing coat (Which some people dont know about surfacing agents for top coats)  the gelcoat, and the 10 layers of rolled out fiberglass unless this thing is on the bottom of the lake for a few decades, and even if it turns to powder the fiberglass is whats going to give the support, The MDF is for Shape. So any references to "MDF is not for boats" will be ignored

Looking good !!, I'll stop by your shop and check the bad boy out, Do you still have the flatty? I saw it in the background, but I think the trailer was already done when I was there last. I still want you to pinstripe mine, I just need to get the bugs worked out of the motor first. Keep the pics coming and dont hesitate to give me a call if you need a hand.

you can jump on it, both sides are glassed now and its filled with expanding foam
