Here's  the basic shape still needs trimming and smoothing out

giving it some shape

these are the bandpass sub boxes for two of the four  JL Audio 12" subs that Justin built for the rear, and no, they are not touching the headers! about three inches of clearance

undergoing the first of many sealing stages

the 12's up front will be in sealed boxes

Justin getting dirty making the wall for under the bow

I making a custom ice chest that will be under the back seat. the passenger side will be seperate incase of bringing Bait for fishing, The larger section will have a slide in divider,

here's the reverse

now some air fittings are bolted in

the air fitting holes are filled with mold release wax so it the entire box then a few layers of PVA

For those who dont know pva is a sprayable viquid that dry like plastic wrap and can be peeled off

Two gel coats the layers and layers of glass later I can pull it off the flat surface

Now I can hook up the air hoses

and.....

Now it lifts out

the green is the pva layer

cleaned and trimmed

Here's the place where they will be, The marks you can see are where I filled minor imperfections, once its sanded a little more I'll spray a uniform layer of gelcoat

I'll get to the insulation for it later, so dont ask!

Justin Made a big ass curve Template By taking one long strip placing one end of the stip at the start of where the boat curves under the bow and the other side at the very tip of the Bow. Then all the smaller pieces were slid in till they met with the wall. Take it out and it a Big ass guide the fits the under bow perfectly

the curve holds the shape of the Interior panels under the bow, There's a reason why it needs that long curved lip, you'll see later, the short blocks are only there to hold the two panels together while the back gets glassed

The day started off great, We got in early and rinsed out the shop and the boat

I was able to get a Surface gelcoat layer on the Ice chest innards,

Since everything was going really smooth today I decided to slip while grinding on the scoop and cut a window in my hand to see what my knuckles looked like on the inside

Some superglue  and some Fiberglass fibers and back to work
